Augusta lives between the Blue Ridge and Allegheny mountains, centrally located in Virginia’s legendary Shenandoah Valley.

Augusta is an easy drive. Two major interstate systems (I-81 and I-64) go through Augusta Country, along with multiple state highways and routes.

Fly in directly: The Shenandoah Valley Airport (SHD) features service from Contour Airlines, a partner of American Airlines. Other options are Charlottesville-Albermarle Airport (CHO), 45 minutes away, and Dulles International Airport (IAD), 2.5 hours away. Car rental options are available at each airport.

Take the train: Amtrak provides service to Staunton (STA) on the Cardinal route, which runs between Chicago and New York City.
